Call For Proposals
Posted by Bob Flynn
BFusion/BFlex is not your typical conference. It is a highly-regarded and enthusiastically-attended hands-on training event held at Indiana University – Bloomington. Its goal is to help expand the community by turning as many people to ColdFusion and Flex as possible. So if you feel like sharing your love of these fantastic technologies please consider submitting a proposal to lead a hands-on session at this year’s conference.
You Give
- Hands-on sessions for beginning, intermediate and/or advanced developers
- Serve as assistant in other sessions when not teaching
You Get
- State-of-the-art classroom facilities
- Enthusiastic throng of participants
- Teaching assistants
- Lodging
- Lunches & speakers dinner
- Honorarium (budget permitting)
Basics
- Both BFusion & BFlex have beginning, intermediate and advanced tracks. BFusion takes place Saturday, September 11 and BFlex on Sunday, September 12.
- Each track has four 90-minute sessions.
- Attendees bring their own laptops.
- This year the software will be delivered to attendees either through a full virtual desktop image or virtual applications. That means they will be the Windows versions. This should minimize the time lost to configuration issues we have experienced in the past.
