About the Site
What?! No ColdFusion?!
Well, I knew that this would come up. With any particular project a stakeholder needs to analyze the overall needs of the project and compare it to the resources available. For this project, as volunteers, we have limited resources available to develop completely custom solutions for every step of the way.
WordPress has all of the primary features needed for us to develop a highly functional and user-friendly event site with minimal time and effort. For next year, if someone would like to contribute a few dozen hours of CF experience, we would love to develop a custom solution.
