BFusion Software Configuration

General Configuration
- Mac OS X 10.5.8 2.6 GHz (Intel) or better 2 GB RAM (or higher) OR
- Windows XP SP3 or Windows Vista SP2 2 GHz or better 2 GB RAM (4 GB for Vista)
Common Software
The following are links to software commonly used by ColdFusion developers. If you are attending a ColdFusion session, you will probably need one or more of these. Please check session-specific configuration information for additions information or exceptions.

- ColdFusion Builder beta: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/coldfusionbuilder
Session-specific Software Configuration and Session Files
Install these before the session:
- ColdFusion 9
- ColdFusion Builder

Getting Started with Mura CMS
Pre-Session Configuration
- Adobe ColdFusion (preferably 8.0.1+) or Railo
- Local web server such as Microsoft IIS or Apache
- Database server such as Microsoft SQL Server (2000+) or MySQL (v.3.0+)
Exercise Files
- The latest build of Mura CMS Standard
- Do NOT install Mura, we will be doing this together in the session.
Integrating Your Custom Design with Mura CMS
Pre-Session Configuration
- Adobe ColdFusion (preferably 8.0.1+) or Railo
- Local web server such as Microsoft IIS or Apache
- Database server such as Microsoft SQL Server (2000+) or MySQL (v.3.0+)
- If NOT attending the prior session “Getting Started …”" then should have Mura CMS installed with a site and a few pages set up prior to the session
Exercise Files

- ColdFusion 8 (not first release⦠should put in hot fix if never did this) or CF9
- USB port for files at class. J We will have a couple to pass around.
Any necessary files will be distributed in the session.

Exercise Files
- Sample cfartgallery database (this is part of the CF Install)
- ORM Session materials archive provided by the instructor: ORM Lab.zip
- You must have either ColdFusion 9 installed with Search Services or you must install the Apache Solr standalone from http://www.adobe.com/support/coldfusion/downloads.html
- Please familiarize yourself with starting, stopping and restarting the solr service. In windows, this is done from the Services panel, on OS X it’s done at the command line by changing to your cfsolr root directory and running “sudo ./cfsolr start|stop|restart”
- Please install VirtualBox, since the session files will be distributed as a Virtual Image
Any necessary files will be distributed in the session.
